Alibaba Forms Partnership With Gaming Giant IGN

Alibaba, the Chinese e-commerce giant, has announced a new partnership with gaming giant IGN.

The two companies will work together to promote each other's products and services. IGN will help Alibaba to reach out to more gamers in the United States and Europe, while Alibaba will support IGN's content efforts across Asia.

"This is a landmark partnership for us," said IGN CEO Peter Moore. "We've long admired Alibaba as one of the most innovative and successful companies in the world, and we're thrilled to be working closely with them to bring our content to even more gamers across Asia."

Alibaba Group President Michael Evans added: "Gaming is a key area of focus for Alibaba Group, and we are excited to collaborate with IGN to provide Chinese gamers with access to high-quality gaming content and world-class gaming experiences."

The two companies have already started working together, with Alibaba sponsoring IGN's recent Game Developers Conference (GDC) event in San Francisco.

Alibaba to Launch Own Online Casino

Alibaba, the Chinese tech giant, is planning to launch its own online casino. The company has submitted an application to operate a remote gambling platform in the Philippines.

The move into the gambling industry comes as Alibaba looks to expand its business beyond e-commerce. The company is currently the world's largest online retailer, but it is looking to move into new areas of business.

Alibaba's online casino will offer a range of games, including poker, blackjack, and roulette. It will also offer sports betting, with events such as the English Premier League and Wimbledon being available for wagers.

The company plans to target the Chinese market with its new online casino. There are around 150 million online gamblers in China, and Alibaba believes it can capitalise on this market.

Alibaba has already invested heavily in the gambling industry. In 2017, it acquired crosstown rival Hong Kong-listed game developer SunCity Group for $4.4 billion. SunCity is one of Asia's largest casino operators, and Alibaba clearly sees gaming as a key growth area.

The online casino market is estimated to be worth $50 billion annually, and Alibaba is looking to make its mark in this space. It faces competition from rivals such as Las Vegas Sands and Wynn Resorts, but with its massive resources, Alibaba is well placed to succeed in this area.

How to Play Alibaba

Alibaba was created in 2014 and is a card game for two to four players. The game is played with a deck of 40 cards, including four suits with ten cards each. The object of the game is to remove all of the cards from your hand.

To begin, each player is dealt 10 cards. The remaining cards are placed in the center of the table, forming the draw pile. Play passes to the left and one card is drawn from the draw pile and placed face up in front of the player.

The player then has two options: either play a card or discard one. If playing a card, the player must place it face up in front of him on either the first or second row in ascending order (from ace to king). If discarding a card, the player simply sets it aside face down.

After playing or discarding, the turn passes to the next player on the left who then draws one card and again has two options. Play continues until either all players have no cards left in their hand or someone plays a royal flush (ace through king of same suit). In this case, that player automatically wins!

Here are some tips to help you win at Alibaba:

  1. Pay attention to what other players are doing. If you can deduce which suit they are trying to play, you can keep your low cards in reserve for later rounds. For example, if three players are playing clubs and one is playing diamonds, you can safely discard any spades or hearts since they won't be of any use to anyone else.

  2. Be careful about discarding high-value cards since they might be needed later on. It's usually a good idea to hold onto at least one Ace and one King so you can play them when necessary.

  3. Keep an eye on the number of cards remaining in the draw pile. When there are only five or six cards left, it might be time to start thinking about winning by playing a royal flush.

Alibaba Slotgaming Goes Live

The Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba has finally gone live with its new Slotgaming platform. The platform, which has been in development for over two years, offers a wide range of slot games that can be played on PCs, smartphones and tablets.

Alibaba's entry into the online gambling market is seen as a major challenge to the dominance of overseas operators such as Playtech and NetEnt. The company has already signed up several major Chinese gaming companies to develop content for the platform, including Perfect World, Giant Interactive and ChangYou.

Players on Alibaba Slotgaming can play for free or in tournaments with cash prizes. The platform also offers social features such as leaderboards and chat rooms. In addition, players can use their Alipay account to deposit and withdraw money.

Alibaba has been making a big push into the online gaming market over the past year. In March 2017, it acquired the Swedish gaming company DPlay for $80 million. DPlay operates an online casino and sports betting site that offers games from NetEnt, BetSoft and Play'n GO.
